This enables the hub computer to specify certain other computers that users have access to. Similar to how a wheel operates, the hub serves as a nexus point, maintaining centralized access to all attached spokes. Hub-and-spoke, on the other hand, is a model that qualifies certain computers as hubs, using the rest of the devices as spokes. It does so from a centralized LogMeIn Hamachi gateway and doesn’t modify any of your active firewalls or network routers. LogMeIn Pro is an excellent remote control application that features everything you need to manage remote systems and provide technical assistance.Kyle Juffs Updated a month ago A safe, free-hosted VPN solution In all, I think LogMeIn is one of the best remote control apps I've tried. Also, the Java-based file manager sometimes feels a bit clunky but that's probably due to Java itself. On the downside, image resolution is obviously not very high when remote controlling (forget about viewing photos in the remote PC). LogMeIn features also interesting extra features with which to chat with the user on the other side of the connection, or record the whole session in video. You'll be able to manage files, transfer data from the local machine to the remote machine and viceversa, and even control the desktop and mouse in the remote PC, with a surprisingly quick response to mouse movements. LogMeIn displays a highly detailed dashboard with all sorts of information about the remote computer: system data, currently active processes, network traffic, hard drive information. Then all you need to do is start your session in the LogMeIn webpage – either using a browser extension or a Java web-based client - and you'll have immediate access to the remote computer. The client should be installed and launched in the computers you want to access remotely.
