Bob then uses his money to bride the stork, causing the army of storks full up Oggy's fort with numbers of babies. Oggy keeps winning, as he builds up an impregnable fort around his house. Oggy and Bob both try different methods of dumping the babies in the opponent's garden. As the story begins, the stork keeps dropping babies at both houses. He doesn't want it at all and dumps it in Bob's garden. It all begins when a stork drops a noisy baby in Oggy's garden. Unfortunately, when Bob later learns the truth about Oggy's fight with two guys, he beats up both cats. In the morning, he is tired and Oggy easily defeats him. However, when he sees Oggy beating two strong guys badly (they are actually hired by Jack), he becomes scared and practices all the night before the match. Meanwhile, self-confident Bob rests and watches the cats. Terrified Oggy has no idea how to box and begs Jack for help. In these episodes, the cockroaches appear only as minor characters.ĭue to the cockroaches' joke, Bob challenges Oggy to a boxing duel. 1.3 Oggy and the Cockroaches: The Movieīob is often just a minor character, but there are several episodes where he is the main antagonist. The cockroaches sometimes team up with him to hurt Oggy together. They even destroy his property many times, much to his anger. He usually lives his own life and doesn't care about Oggy at all, but when Oggy or the Cockroaches mistakenly end up in his garden or house, he can be very rude and aggressive, beating them up (mostly off-screen, only with fighting sounds and cat-squealing). He is obviously richer than Oggy, due to his gold statues in his garden and the fact he was about to buy the most expensive boxing gloves. He is a dark brown skinned bulldog with a gray belly, a large chin and a spiked leash (without a handle). He usually doesn't appear as a villain, but he is a choleric and can't control his anger. If Oggy does anything that annoys him, he beats him up. He is an angry guard dog who lives next door to Oggy. Jack acts as a antagonist at times but he’s not fully an antagonist.Wrathful Abuser Bob, also known as Bob the Bulldog, is the secondary antagonist of the French animated comedy series, Oggy and the Cockroaches.Even though Jack's home is next to Oggy's, he'll always ride in his jeep instead of walking. Then again, being from a comedy show, this inconsistency might be for comedic purposes. This has stopped in Season 4, where Jack has been given a permanent house. In some episodes, he lives in his own house and usually visits Oggy, while in other episodes, he'd be roommates with Oggy. However, in Castaway Cats he never shows any signs of being seasick. In Mayday! Mayday! Jack is revealed to be seasick.Jack, being Oggy's cousin, could very likely reference the real-life shop Cousin Jack's Pasty Co., where it sells cornish pasties, and "oggy" is also an alternate name for cornish pasties.Jack is shown to be afraid of monsters in "Monster from the Mud Lagoon".Jack is known to have aerophobia in "The Lighthouse Keeper", yet he isn't afraid of them when flying airplanes.Jack will get seasick if he goes on a cruise ship, as shown in "Mayday! Mayday!".He tends to play the "straight-man" to Oggy and the roaches' antics. However, at times, Jack can show his nicer side when he's not focused on stopping the cockroaches or acting villainous. He is perhaps the easiest target in the show, mainly because his rage gets him too unfocused on either getting rid of the cockroaches. He also sometimes bullies Oggy, either moving him when he's in front of the TV, trying to beat Oggy in a race, or just going plain insane. Jack often builds something to try and destroy the cockroaches, or any other insect that roams Oggy's house-and while he has had some success, more often than not his plans backfire. More often than not, he's focused on getting rid of the cockroaches or doing something selfish. He's aggressive, focused, short-tempered, sometimes lazy, obnoxious, and mechanic. Jack can be easily described as the opposite of Oggy. He is an olive green cat with a red nose, pointed ears with hairs coming out of them, and a big head.
